Discovering Guyala Cafe: A Quintessential Breakfast Experience

Let me set the scene: Imagine an early morning in Cairns. The sun’s first rays touch the esplanade, casting a golden hue across the coast. Amid this picture-perfect setting lies a gem—Guyala Cafe, the epitome of culinary excellence. Let’s dive in!

Morning’s Delight, Guyala Awaits

Outdoor seating with impeccable views, this cafe is where tranquility meets modernity. Whether you’re enjoying your meal indoors or out, you’re in for a visual treat. And did I mention? It’s dog-friendly! As someone well-acquainted with the restaurant scene in Cairns, this feature is a rarity and a nod to the inclusiveness that Guyala Cafe represents.

And the food. Oh, where to begin? From the Tropical Avocado Toast with Bacon and Egg to the tantalising Lemon Myrtle Eggs Benedict with Smoked Salmon, every dish is a delightful revelation. A personal favourite? The Paperbark Smoked Roo-Ben Sandwich—it’s as delectable as it sounds. Every plate is a blend of traditional flavours with an inventive twist. And if you’re ever in doubt, just ask for their special of the day, like the Crayfish tail. One bite, and you’ll find yourself exclaiming, “WOW!”

Vegetarians, rejoice! The menu is teeming with choices for you. From Truffle Toastie to Avo Toast, the variety is truly commendable. Plus, the Pina colada waffles are a must-try, embodying the essence of where food meets art.

A trip to Guyala Cafe would be incomplete without mentioning their coffee. Expertly brewed by the illustrious barista, Alex, it’s the perfect pick-me-up. And for those seeking something a tad different, their iced chai is unparalleled in taste.

Highly recommended! Very attention to detailed cafe. The environment is peaceful and modern. It is not easy to find that kind of style cafe in cairns. Staff are really friendly, greeting with sunny smile when we got in but unfortunately couldn’t get her name. For the foods, the truffle toasted was okay, it is up to standard. But the pork belly one is really blow my mind. Everything on the plate are making your taste super balance. Not too oily and not feeling too much to have it in the breakfast. In general, very good experience at all.
